The good news is that "MSTS Tools and Editors" does work on Windows 10 even on my gaming laptop! Very disappointed the game itself will load and then crash back to desktop, but at least there's Open Rail's Plus I still have my Windows 7 laptop to play the official MSTS game If a user is to buy a newer computer, Direct X 8 and 9.0c isn't supported on Windows 10 meaning that MSTS will not work correctly on newer computers! Even if you have the required hardware, graphics and such, it will not make any difference unless Kuju could officially update MSTS to enable the game to work on Windows 10, probably will never happen! I think the only reason why some user's can get MSTS working on Windows 10, if they originally upgraded their computer from either Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and 8.1 to Windows 10 in the beginning! ARG706Sorry mate for the delay! Yes, I installed MSTS via the disk on Windows 10 to C drive "Not to Programs" folder! Did you install it via disk though? The post indicated to drag the MSTS folder from a USB drive (or any external source) to somewhere that isn't in program files.
